There are
27 different singers and musicians including Shane performing on this album. Some of whom travelled from Adelaide, Melbourne and Kuala
Lumper to be on this record. Instruments featured on the disk include a wide range of percussion
i.e. tabla, durrumbuka, djembe, doumbek, ungklung and conga drums. Also Hammond organ,
Wurlitzer piano, melatron, strings and piano accordion mixed with a great array of acoustic and electric guitars, bass and drums. Sydney based 'One Stop Graphics' designed the artwork for the album while Allan Brown and James Baker share the credits for the photography. The amazing imagery on the front cover is a PA truck parked on the side of the road between Mt Isa and Charters Towers in Queensland , Australia at sunrise. '7000 miles' is the debut CD for Shane Flew and is a brilliant start to a formidable recording career. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What The Critics Said ...
